Amanda Aubrey is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. Amanda graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2008 and a Master’s degree in Nursing in 2011.

Amanda has long had a passion for pediatric care and worked at our local Kosair Children’s Hospital (presently known as Norton Children’s) from 2004-2011. Amanda worked as an APRN alongside Dr Christy Lane from 2011-2018 at Growing Kids Pediatrics.

In 2018 Amanda stepped aside from primary care to pursue her passion in lactation consulting. During this time, she built a lactation consulting business, Baby Eyes Lactation Consulting. Now that the lactation business is established and running smoothly, Amanda is back at Growing Kids Pediatrics once per week seeing many familiar faces that she had missed dearly!!

When not working, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 daughters! Amandas daughters ride horses competitively and spend much of their time riding and taking care of their horses. If not traveling to horse shows, you may be able to find the Aubrey’s at Disney World or somewhere on a beach!
